Fuck these words and fuck these walls, the cracks are getting deeper. Burning roads and fainting shores, destroying is good for healing. Feel the skin cuts growing deep within the dreams we taught ourselves to sacrifice, and dim their lights. Here lie the ruins of our empire and all the ships that we had to sink not to look back, but to regret. Rusted hearts beneath these cracks, sharpened knives behind our backs. We’ve been just holding our hopes down for all this time, if only we had enough nerve to shut our eyes wide. Once the roots get severed there’s one last thing to do: we’re heading north. In this very night we won’t be anonymous.
